Pickleball Leagues

Ages 18+ • Tuesdays/Wednesdays/Fridays • Sports & Recreation Center, Gyms

Round-robin, 6-week formatted leagues with up to 16 players per league. Allocated 90 minutes to play 6 games. Tuesday and Friday leagues compete with a different partner and against a different pair of opponents. Mixed doubles register as a team of 2. Subs are emailed as a group on an as-needed basis. This is a competitive league!

Join a great soccer community this winter! 10 game sessions. Register as a team! Players may not move teams after the season starts; team subs must be paid, rostered players. Indoor Soccer Team Fee & Registration Process

  1. Pay Initial Team Fee (must be paid in full)  
  • $750 initial team fee includes 10 resident players ($850 ALL non-resident team).
  • The $750 R/ $850 NR team fee can be paid online, over the phone, via mail, or in-person.
  • Teams paying $750 will owe $10 per non-resident rostered player of the original 10 players.
  1. Submit a Completed Team Roster with a Minimum of 10 players (incomplete team rosters will not be accepted) to Jeff Myles jmyles@dekalbparkdistrict.com 
  • In-person or mailed to the Sports & Recreation Center, 1765 S. 4th Street, DeKalb, IL 60115
  1. Pay Additional Player Fees and Non-Resident Fees due one week before the first games
  • Additional Player Fees (above 10 players) - $40 R/$50 NR per player
  • Non-resident fees (if owed from the initial 10-player roster) - $10 per player

Teen/Adult S.A.M.A. Karate of DeKalb

Ages 14+ • Tuesdays & Thursdays • Haish Gym, Large Gym

Learn discipline, focus, self-confidence, coordination, fitness, self-defense, and more through the study of karate. Classes are taught by Sensei Shannon Marbutt and his assistants. Belt, tests, uniforms, and other equipment are available at reasonable fees payable to the instructor.

DeKalb Park District requires all athletic staff, coaches, players, parents and spectators to abide by a "Code of Conduct" with the following guidelines:

  • Show respect to all participants, staff, and spectators.
  • Refrain from using foul language.
  • Refrain from inflicting bodily harm upon other participants, staff, and spectators.
  • Show respect for equipment, supplies and facilities.

Additional guidelines may be developed as deemed necessary. DeKalb Park District reserves the right to dismiss a participant or spectator for inappropriate conduct. Each situation will be evaluated on its own merit.
