Bioblitzes are a great way to connect to your environment while generating useful data for science and conservation! They are also an excuse for naturalists, scientists, nature enthusiasts, and curious members of the public to meet in person in the great outdoors and are a lot of FUN! Started in 2016, the City Nature Challenge is an international event, motivating people around the world to find and document native plants and animals in their communities, utilizing the iNaturalist app. Learn more at inaturalist.org and citynaturechallenge.org. Our top three observation prize winners will be announced on Monday, May 8.
