DeKalb Holiday House Decorating Contest

DeKalb, help us brighten the community in our fourth annual DeKalb Holiday House Decorating Contest!

We will award prizes for the Best Overall Theme, Light Up the Town, and People's Choice. All displays will be judged by Park District staff on December 6 between 4:00 - 10:00 pm (residents do not need to be present for judging). This contest is for DeKalb residents only. Addresses of all entries will be published in local media unless specified otherwise at the time of registration. The winner for Best Overall Theme and Light Up the Town (Staff Picks) and participating addresses will be published on December 7. All displays will be judged online through the District Facebook page for a People's Choice award, December 7 - 14. The image with the most “likes” by 9:00 pm on December 14 wins! The People’s Choice winner will be officially announced on December 15. Winners will receive a prize package.

Fee: $5 per house (DeKalb residents only). Registration Deadline: December 5 (or until full)
