Fourth of July Celebration & Fireworks Show

Enjoy a day of FREE family fun in Hopkins Park as we celebrate our nation's independence! Brought to you in cooperation with the City of DeKalb. Fourth of July Celebration food vendors include Big D's Hot Dogs, Tako Sushi, The Cream King, Lovely Lemon, The Press Box, and Sweet Butts Cotton Candy.

Independence Day Run/Walk: 8:30 am
Animal Show (FREE): 4:00-5:00 pm
Games, Activities, & Strolling Entertainment (FREE): 4:00-8:00 pm
Food Vendors: 4:00 pm - Fireworks Show
Final Say (Live Band): 4:00-5:30 pm (description below)
DJ Behind the Beats: 5:30-7:15 pm
DeKalb Municipal Band Concert: Starts at 7:30 pm
Fireworks Show: 30 minutes after sunset

*Please note that dogs will be prohibited in Hopkins Park after NOON on July 4 to ensure the safety of both our two-legged and four-legged friends during the holiday.*

Final Say is a high-energy, pop and rock cover band renowned for its dynamic stage presence and extensive repertoire, part of the well-established Maggie Speaks musical family. They are known for performing a wide range of music, from the 60s to today's top 40 hits, and are sought after for weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations.
