Patriotic House Decorating Contest

Show your red, white, and blue spirit and help DeKalb celebrate America 250 by decorating your home in patriotic style! Join the DeKalb Park District's Patriotic House Decorating Contest and be part of a community-wide celebration honoring 250 years of American pride!

All displays will be judged by Park District staff and volunteers during daylight hours on Wednesday, July 8th (residents do not need to be present for judging). Contest for DeKalb residents only. Register by July 8 or until full.

This contest is for DeKalb residents only. Addresses of all entries will be published in local media unless specified otherwise at the time of registration.

All displays will also be judged online through the District Facebook page for a People's Choice award, July 9 - 16. The image with the most “likes” by 9:00 pm on July 16 wins! The People’s Choice winner will be officially announced on July 17. Winners will receive a prize package
