Time to Tackle Woody Invasives

If you're looking for a way to get out in nature and give back to the community, help us tackle woody invasives, such as buckthorn and honeysuckle, this fall season! The DeKalb Park District is asking volunteers to help eradicate the invasive species. Invasive species are no joke and threaten native plant life in our area.

Meet by the Ellwood timber next to the Oakwood Cemetery at 9 am and staff will provide tools and directions. No registration is required.
