Inspired by Ronnie the River Otter, our playful mascot, Ronnie's Club keeps kids active and entertained when school's out, or you need a night off! With supervised games, crafts, open gym time and more, it's your go-to for fun-filled days nights all year long!
Parent's Night Out
Ages 4-12
Saturdays • 5:30 - 9:00 PM
Sports & Recreation Center, Activity Room
Let the DeKalb Park District give you a well-deserved break while your kids (ages 4–12) enjoy a fun-filled evening of games, crafts, activities, and a pizza dinner. While the kids are entertained, parents can relax or enjoy a night on the town.
Participating DeKalb restaurants even offer exclusive date-night discounts when you enroll!
All participants must be fully potty trained!

Open Gym goes on Summer Break after May 11 (Toddler) and May 14th (Homeschool). Both Open Gyms will resume in October!
Homeschool Open Gym
Ages 5-18
Thursdays • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Haish Gymnasium, Large Gym
Let's get moving! Geared toward homeschooled children, but open to all, these two-hour open gym times will focus on a different game/activity each week.
Homeschool Open Gym is supervised by trained staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants. We prioritize the well-being of each child and adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
Parents are welcome to stay and socialize! Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.

Toddler Open Gym
Ages 2-15
Tuesdays • 9:00 - 11:00 AM
Haish Gymnasium, Large Gym
Let your little ones run, jump, and paly in a safe, fun, and social environment! Our Open Gym playtime gives toddlers the chance to explore age-appropriate equipment, burn off energy, and make new friends! This Open Gym is not instructor led; parent supervision is required.
