Danielle has been training dogs since 8 years old, she was very involved in the dog training program through 4-H from 8-18. Through the program they had weekly training classes and learned beg-adv obedience, agility, and showmanship. She also got show experience through the program and qualified for state competition most years. During college Danielle became very interested in behavioral work after deciding to rescue an aggressive German Shepherd from being euthanized at Animal control. She studied under a rehab trainer and later started helping various people with their dog’s issues. To get more experience she worked at a high end training center for 2 years where everyone starts as an apprentice and earns their certification through vigorous testing, on average taking 9+ months to gain certification, Danielle graduated the program in 4 months. The facility allowed her to get hands on experience with hundred of dogs of every breed, shape, and size working 20-40 dogs a day while also teaching private lessons each day. Danielle specializes in rehabilitation of aggressive dogs and offers board & train and private lessons through her business, Paws on Track Training. In early 2022 she began teaching group obedience classes through DeKalb Park District.
