Reach your wellness goals with our membership options to Haish Gym or Sports & Recreation Center amenities! Members receive access to specific facility spaces, programs, and open gym times. Memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase (see rates below).

The Fitness Center at Haish Gym is excited to share some brand-new fitness center equipment with our visitors. Check out the new suspension elliptical, upright bike, step mill, bicep/tricep machine, leg/calf press, weight bench, medicine balls, dumbells, and kettlebells!
We also offer Fitness Classes, Martial Arts, and Pickleball Programs.
NEW! Home School Open Gym
(Ages 5+)
Let’s get moving! Geared toward homeschooled children but open to all, these two-hour open gym times will focus on a different game/activity each week led by an instructor. Pre-registration is encouraged! No Homeschool Open Gym on 10/31/24, 11/21/24, 11/28/24, 12/26/24, 1/2/25, & 3/27/25.

Daily Drop-In Fees
Drop-in rates for eligible programs and facilities are $5 for Residents, $6 for Non-Residents.
To qualify for resident rates you must live in the DeKalb Park District and provide a valid Illinois Driver's License or Illinois Resident ID Card as proof. You may also show a utility bill or lease in your name at an address in the DeKalb Park District with a picture ID to receive resident rates.
Open Gym
Visit us for open gym times at Haish Gymnasium, geared towards all age groups! Children 10 and younger must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Open Gym hours are subject to change seasonally.

Pickleball
Sports & Recreation Center Gymnasiums
Pickleball is a recreation sensation sweeping the nation! Think badminton, tennis, and ping pong all wrapped up into one awesome game - it is great fun and terrific exercise. From beginners to advanced players come join this action-packed game. Limited beginner level paddles and balls provided. During the warmer season months, check out our free outdoor pickleball courts at Hopkins and Welsh Park.
Seasonal Open Pickleball is included in the annual Combo, Open Gym, and Active Adult Annual Membership Fees with the exception of Thursday Night Pickleball Challenge & Pickleball Leagues.
Monthly Pickleball Member Pass: $20 R/$25 NR
Includes Open Pickleball Monday-Friday mornings, but not Thursday evenings.

Indoor Walking
Sports & Recreation Center Fieldhouse
Stay active and walk indoors on cushioned indoor turf made from a bed of tiny rubber pellets. No bikes or strollers allowed. Young children brought in with parents must be supervised at all times. A one mile distance is approximately seven full turns around the Fieldhouse.
Free for Combo and Fitness Pass members, users MUST sign-in. Drop-in fee is $5 R/ $6 NR.

Fitness Center
The Fitness Center at Haish Gym includes a variety of exercise equipment to help you stay in shape. Equipment includes: treadmills, cycles, two elliptical trainers, a stair climber, resistance equipment, a multi-station gym, and more.

For their safety, children are not permitted in the Fitness Center, ages 14+ only. The Fitness Center is closed on Sundays and select holidays.

Silver Sneakers Program
The DeKalb Park District is a SilverSneakers health and fitness program provider! SilverSneakers is a program designed for adults 65+ that's included with many Medicare Plans. As a SilverSneakers participant, you receive access to all facilities and activities that Haish Fitness & Gym members are afforded AT NO COST TO YOU! Access to Open Indoor Walking at Sports and Recreation Center, use of the Fitness Center at Haish Gym, and Indoor Open Pickleball at both facilities is included.

Register for a membership at the Sports and Recreation Center, Haish Gym, or at the Hopkins Community Center-mention that you're are an eligible SilverSneakers participant.
