Doug Eaton Sworn in as Commissioner

DeKalb, IL—The DeKalb Park District is pleased to announce that Doug Eaton has been sworn in as a Commissioner of the Park Board during a Special Park Board Meeting held on June 21, 2024.

Commissioner Eaton brings with him a wealth of experience and dedication to public service, having previously served on the Park Board from July 2019 through April 2021. His commitment to enhancing the recreational and leisure opportunities for DeKalb residents has been evident through his prior tenure and ongoing involvement in community initiatives.

Appointed to fill a vacant seat, Commissioner Eaton's term will run until April 2025. His reappointment is a testament to his enduring dedication and the significant contributions he has made to the Park District and the community at large.
