Making Magical Memories Together

DeKalb, IL-Valentine season is the perfect time for dads and daughters to dance the night away on Saturday, February 18, 5:30-7:30 pm, in the Terrace Room, located at Hopkins Park Community Center, 1403 Sycamore Road, for the annual Daddy Daughter and Heroes Dance. 

Join staff for a magical ‘Once Upon a Fairy Tale’ themed evening with desserts, dancing, guessing games, contests, light refreshments, and personalized photographs. Each daughter will also receive a special memento to take home! This event is not exclusive to dads, but girls ages 3-13 have the option to bring a special hero or role model as their date to the dance. Attendees are encouraged to dress to impress or as their favorite princess/fairy tale character. 

“There’s something truly magical about the Daddy Daughter and Heroes Dance! This year we have an enchanting surprise in store as we welcome some charming guests to dance the night away with our participants. This night is bound to be a fairy tale to remember!" stated Recreation Supervisor, Chrissy Tluczek. 

The fee is $37 per resident couple and $46 per non-resident couple. You can add a child or dad/hero for $18 per resident and $23 per non-resident. This event will sell out, so reserve your spot soon!
