Public Notice for Open Park Board Seats

DeKalb, IL- This is a public notice for the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election in DeKalb County, Illinois. 

Petitions for three DeKalb Park District Board seats, each serving a four-year term, are currently open. The petition filing period begins on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, and ends on Monday, November 18, 2024. Petitions may be filed at the Administration Offices in the Hopkins Park Community Center, located at 1403 Sycamore Road, DeKalb, Illinois, 60115, from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Petition Circulation for the 2025 Consolidated Election began on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. 

The Candidate’s Guide and signature requirements may be obtained from the DeKalb County Election’s website at https://dekalbcountyclerkil.gov/ Election Packets are available for pickup in person at the Administration Offices in the Hopkins Park Community Center from 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, now through November 18, 2024.
