Public Notice for Open Park Board Seats

DeKalb, IL- This is a public notice for the April 4, 2023, Consolidated Election in DeKalb County, Illinois. 

Petitions for two seats on the DeKalb Park Board, each serving a four-year term, are currently open. The petition filing period begins Monday, December 12, 2022, and ends on Monday, December 19, 2022. Beginning from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, filing will take place at the Administration Offices in the Hopkins Park Community Center, located at 1403 Sycamore Road, DeKalb, Illinois, 60115. Petition Circulation for the 2023 Consolidated Election began on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. 

The Candidate’s Guide and signature requirements may be obtained from the DeKalb County Election’s website at http://dekalb.il.clerkserve.com/ or an Elections Packet will be available for pickup in person at the Administration Offices at Hopkins Community Center, at 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday, now through December 19, 2022.
