Help Us Make a Splash at Hopkins Park – Name the Pool Contest: Semifinal Voting

The DeKalb Park District needs your help! As we prepare to reopen the new Hopkins Park outdoor swimming pool facility in Summer 2026, we’re inviting the community to play a role in its future by helping choose its official name. Thank you for voting in our quarterfinals! The top name in each of the four quarterfinal matchups have moved to our semifinals! Vote for your favorite names in each matchup, and the top two names will move to the finals.

Follow along and vote as we narrow it down over the next few weeks. The winning pool name will be announced on Friday, February 20th following board approval on Thursday, February 19th.

• February 2 – 6: Online Semifinal Voting - Voting ends at 11:59 PM on February 6.
• February 9 – 13: Online Final Voting
• Winner Announced: Friday, February 20
