Upcoming Events
Camp runs for 11 weeks, from May 27 - August 8!
Campers will discover new experiences and friendships each week through games, craft activities, sports, theme days, and more, all in a structured environment.
Sign up week-to-week or for the full 11 weeks for some summer camp savings, which includes an option Before and After Camp Care. We also offer week-long, half-day specialty camps (see tab below) for a variety of interests. We're looking forward to an adventurous summer with you!
Summer Camp registration goes live on April 1, 2025! Sign up between April 1 and May 1 for the 5% Off Early Bird Discount.
Camp Discover
(Ages 6-12)
Enjoy one of DeKalb's favorite summer camps, which includes weekly field trips, water days, and entertainment.
Full-Day Camp Time: 8:45 am - 5:00 pm
Camp Discover Before & After Camp Care
Are you in need of extended camp hours? Enroll in our Before and After Camp Care to have the flexibility to pick up and drop off your camper any time within our extended hours. Pre-registration is required.
Before Camp Care: 7:00 - 8:45 am
After Camp Care: 5:00 - 6:00 pm

Campers MUST be registered no later than noon on the Tuesday prior to your week of camp. Online registration closes at 11:59 pm on Monday, so please call (815) 758-7756 for Tuesday morning registration.
Dekalb Residents who qualify may utilize our Scholarship Assistance Program towards camp fees!
Summer-Long Mini Programs
Looking for exciting activities that last all summer long, especially for younger children? Take advantage of weekly, themed activities in a fun, structured environment. Sign your kids up for one program or all three! All children must be fully potty-trained.

Yarn Camp
Ages 12-18 • Sports & Recreation Center
In this camp, you will learn to knit and crochet basic stitches. You will leave with finished projects and the tools to craft at home.

Let's Make a Mess!
Ages 5 - 10 • Sports & Recreation Center
Stay busy this summer by making a mess without worrying about your house! Let us handle the mess for you as we tackle slime, shaving cream, paint, and more in tons of fun activities. Mess guaranteed, so dress appropriately!

DeKalb Explorers
Ages 5 - 13 • Sports & Recreation Center
Get the behind the scenes tour of the town you know and love! This camp will hit the road to explore behind the scenes of local attractions such as the DeKalb airport, Ellwood House, and more! Our camp will include some famous custard and a water day in the park!

radKIDS Camp
Ages 5-12 • Sports & Recreation Center
Since 2001 radKIDS has become the National Leader in Children's Safety Education. Empowering children and parents with a revolutionary skill-based curriculum, that strengthens children's personal boundaries and parental confidence. Join us this spring break to learn how to replace fear with knowledge, skill, and power, by enhancing a child's critical thinking abilities and physical resistance skills. This program provides the opportunity for children to recognize, avoid, resist, and if necessary escape violence or harm while remaining joyful and safer in our world today.
