DeKalb is home to one of the best indoor skateparks geared towards learning and progressing in skateboarding. Skateboarding increases confidence, body awareness, balance, and happiness. Come learn the basics of skateboarding from Fargo's experienced instructors.

No gear? No problem! All safety equipment and skateboards are included.

This is a weekly class with drop-in hours. You can arrive anytime after 3:00 PM and stay as late as 6:00 PM.

Dungeons & Dragons (Youth)

Ever wanted to slay a dragon or storm a castle? Players of all abilities and experiences are welcome to join our experienced Dungeon Master on an adventure of the imagination. This two-part progressive workshop series takes the beginner from basic rules and character creation through a full campaign. Experienced players can jump right into one of the One-Shot Campaigns. Sign up for one or all sessions! All materials are provided!

Once you have attended a Character Creation & Rules session, you'll be ready to jump into a Dungeons & Dragons campaign! Join us for our One-Shot Campaigns scheduled for the two Sundays following the Character Creation & Rules class (see below)!

One Shot Campaign

Let the quest begin! Our Dungeon Masters will engage, entertain and challenge kids as they lead them on an adventure they'll be talking about long after the game ends. Participants will play through a one-shot campaign with their newly created characters.

A Dungeons & Dragons one-shot is a short, self-contained story that takes place over the course of one or two sessions. It's a great way to play and be introduced to the magical world of D&D. Players should attend our Character Creation & Rules workshop (see above) or have a basic understanding of the game to participate. All materials are provided!

Nerf Night

Battle it out with NERF! Compete in games including Capture the Flag, Team Elimination and Free-for-All Combat. Light refreshments provided. All Nerf supplies, including blasters, darts, and goggles will be provided (please leave your own supplies at home).

LEGO® BuILDER COMPETITION

Ages 5-17

Do you have a LEGO Master Builder in your house? Or a kiddo who is just obsessed with LEGO? Join in the LEGO fun with us at this year's LEGO Master Builders Competition: Summer Adventures!

Individuals will be able to show off their summer-themed amazing builds in this competition-style format and compete for the title of Master Builder of their age division. All LEGO® bricks are provided, just bring your ideas and get ready to build!

Competitors will be divided into groups by age and assigned a build project that is appropriate for their age group.

A full list of competition rules and what to expect will be emailed 1 week prior to the competition. Each participant will receive their own LEGO kit that is theirs to take home at the end of the event!

Light refreshments are provided.

Taught by Kennedy Davis, a local baker with 10 years of baking experience, you'll master the art of cookie design in The Sugar Studio. This is an immersive five-week beginner series designed for ages 16 and up!

Meeting every Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, this hands-on workshop takes you from baking enthusiast to confident decorator by covering the essential foundations of cookie artistry.

Throughout the series, you will learn the secrets to mastering royal icing consistency, achieving a flawless flood, and practicing intricate detail piping. We will dive into creative techniques like wet-on-wet designs, marbling, and adding eye-catching textures that make your treats stand out. After four weeks of step-by-step skill-building, the series concludes with a fun, low-pressure decorating challenge where you can unleash your creativity, design a custom cookie set, and showcase your final creations to our wonderful staff.
