Baby & Toddler: Sense the fun!

Explore, discover, and play together! This engaging sensory class is designed for babies and toddlers to experience a variety of textures, colors, sounds, and movements in a safe, supportive environment. Caregivers participate alongside their child, making this a fun and meaningful way to bond while supporting early learning through play.

Discover Skateboarding at Fargo

DeKalb is home to one of the best indoor skateparks geared towards learning and progressing in skateboarding. Skateboarding increases confidence, body awareness, balance and happiness. Come learn the basics of skateboarding from Fargo's experienced instructors.
No gear? No problem! All safety equipment and skateboards are included.
This is a weekly class with drop-in hours. You can arrive anytime after 3:00 PM and stay as late as 6:00 PM.

Dungeons & Dragons (Youth)

Ever wanted to slay a dragon or storm a castle? Plays of all abilities and experiences are welcome to join our experienced Dungeon Master on a an adventure of the imagination. This two-part progressive workshop series takes the beginner from basic rules and character creation through a full campaign. Experienced players can jump right into one of the One-Shot Campaigns. One Shot Campaign
Let the quest begin! Our Dungeon Masters will engage, entertain and challenge kids as they lead them on an adventure they'll be talking about long after the game ends. Participants will play through a one-shot campaign with their newly created characters.
A Dungeons & Dragons one-shot is a short, self-contained story that takes place over the course of one or two sessions. It's a great way to play and be introduced to the magical world of D&D. Players should attend our Character Creation & Rules workshop (see above) or have a basic understanding of the game to participate. All materials are provided!

We will depart as a group from the Sports & Recreation Center and step into the great outdoors for a day of exploration, learning, and creativity at a local forest preserve. Participants will enjoy a guided nature walk where they’ll learn about local plants, trees, and wildlife, discover how nature changes with the seasons, and practice observing the world around them. After breaking for lunch, participants will take part in a hands-on nature-inspired craft using ideas drawn from their surroundings.
Lunch and all materials and supplies are provided.
Participants should wear closed-toed shoes and bring a refillable water bottle.

Join us for crafting and dinner at the Creativity Corner! Where artists of all abilities will be guided through step-by-step projects that they will bring home at the end of the session. Our monthly workshops include dinner and will enhance your creativity, fine motor skills, and provide a great place to make friends.

T-Shirt Tie Pillows
In our April class, upcycle a t-shirt into a stylish no-sew pillow. Participants will cut, tie, and fill their pillow to create a cozy piece that’s both fun and functional. Participants may bring a t-shirt from home or take one of ours!

In our May class, participants will create vibrant, eye-catching designs using colorful “diamond” gems placed onto adhesive templates. All materials are provided, and participants will leave with a completed (or nearly completed) piece of shimmering artwork to take home.

LEGO® BuILDER COMPETITION

Do you have a LEGO Master Builder in your house? Or a kiddo who is just obsessed with LEGO? Join in the LEGO fun with us at this year's LEGO Master Builders Competition: Summer Adventures!
Individuals will be able to show off their summer-themed amazing builds in this competition-style format and compete for the title of Master Builder of their age division. All LEGO® bricks are provided, just bring your ideas and get ready to build!
Competitors will be divided into groups by age and assigned a build project that is appropriate for their age group.
A full list of competition rules and what to expect will be emailed 1 week prior to the competition. Each participant will receive their own LEGO kit that is theirs to take home at the end of the event!
