S.A.M.A. Karate Of DeKalb

Learn discipline, focus, self-confidence, coordination, fitness, self-defense and more through the study of karate. Classes are taught by Sensei Shannon Marbutt and his assistants. Belt, tests, uniforms, and other equipment are available at reasonable fees payable to the instructor. Voted "The Best" Martial Arts programs in 2021 DeKalb County's Finest, as part of the Daily Chronicle Reader's Choice Awards.

Discover Skateboarding

(Ages 5+)

DeKalb is home to one of the best indoor skateparks geared towards learning and progressing in skateboarding. Skateboarding increases confidence, body awareness, balance, and happiness. Some kids may feel a huge sense of accomplishment from facing their fears. Falling and getting back up becomes easier, and the ability to break down steps to achieve your goals becomes second like nature. Equipment Included!

Intro to Horseback Riding Camp

(Ages 6-16)

Have you ever considered getting your child involved with horses, but would like an introduction first? This one-day camp is a great starting place for skill levels beginner to advanced. Participants will receive an engaging, hands-on horse experience while learning how to care for and stay safe around these large animals. Camp activities will include, but are not limited to: intro to grooming, tacking up, riding, basic horse care, crafts, games, and more! Participants should wear long pants and shoes with no more than a 1" heel.

Riding Lessons

(Ages 6+)

Would you like a horse experience but don't know where to start? Willow Creek Farm is your go-to whether you're a beginning rider, or looking to get back in the saddle after some time off. Specializing in English and Western instruction, we have horses for every part of your riding career. Lessons will include detailed explanation of grooming practice, correct tack-up routine, riding skills, and more! Participants should wear long pants and shoes with no more than a 1" heel.
