The mission of the DeKalb Park District is to connect the community, enhance the quality of life, and improve the environment. The DeKalb Park District is therefore committed to providing recreational opportunities to all residents regardless of economic circumstances. Consequently, a limited fund fee assistance program is available to those who qualify.

Income level, family size, and other criteria determine whether or not fee assistance is awarded. This program is also offered to DeKalb residents only. Many families that qualify for a reduced program fee are not taking advantage of the opportunity simply because they haven't asked to be considered. If you have wanted to participate in our programs, but couldn't because of financial circumstances, we encourage you to apply!

Please drop off your application form and supporting materials to the Administrative Offices at Hopkins Community Center, located at 1403 Sycamore Road.

The approval process can take up to one week.
